Since 2017, Quinoa Cotopaxi is working with the Asociación de Hilanderas de Cotopaxi,
an association of women dedicated to agriculture, who we are assessing on how to
work their lands into organic fields and growth of organic quinoa. We also teach them
about nutrition as a way of life.

We do fair trade because we pay our associated farmer higher prices than what the
market pays.

Kichwa Saraguro Yachay Kawsay

We collaborate with the Kichwa Saraguro children’s school “Yachay Kawsay”. With the purchase of our products, you help a Kichwa Saraguro child to have the opportunity to attend Yachay Kawsay and to develop their twelve intelligences and learn from their culture in Kichwa and English.
Yachay Kaway is a learning space that respects the autonomy and the inner being of the students as a mean to achieve the taste and responsibility towards study and entrepreneurship.
Yachay Kawsay offers a space – time to be, do and transcend for young children and adults.
It is not a "school" or "language course or workshop" but a life experience of learning and developing the intelligences.
